From 1990 to 1996, Larry L. Taylor served as a production and financing consultant to independent producers and directors who had motion picture projects in very serious trouble either with their budget or production problems and needed outside expert help to save them from outright disaster. Over this period, Mr. Taylor worked on over 92 films and was able to save nearly 95 percent of the projects he was called in to save. Some of these films later went on to become very successful with several earning Academy Award nominations. Mr. Taylor’s work as a consultant was of a very sensitive, confidential and secretive nature. Under written contract Mr. Taylor is NOT ALLOWED to provide a listing of the clients he helped to save. This section of the resume must be taken at face value by the reader.
Starting in 1997, Mr. Taylor returned to motion pictures development and while he still writes treatments he now hires outside writers to prepare screenplays under his personal supervision and guidance. Mr. Taylor has also changed direction and is now dedicated and devoted to producing both motion picture and television programming exclusively for FAMILY ENTERTAINMENT. Following is a PARTIAL LISTING ONLY of current projects in development by Larry Taylor Productions.
