Major Humanitarian Elements

Motion Picture Studios and Fantasyworlds Theme Park

Humanitarian elements will play an important and major role in the development and operations of both the motion picture studios for Larry Taylor Productions, Inc. and our FANTASYWORLDS THEME PARK. Whereas the majority of American business concerns do not think about humanitarian or charitable elements until well after they are set up and in business, we have designed these elements into both our thinking and our projects right from the very beginning. It has been Mr. Taylor’s personal belief for many years now that American business has not done enough to help alleviate the pain and suffering felt around the world or to provide job training to the poor, promote peace, friendship and understanding or provide educational opportunities, etc. All of these elements have been incorporated into our project in a wide array of elements designed to help accomplish these goals. Following is a partial listing of some, but not all, of the various charitable and humanitarian program and opportunities we have designed and built into our various projects.

JOB OPPORTUNITIES - MOTION PICTURE STUDIO AND FANTASYWORLDS THEME PARK:

Beyond creating thousands of construction jobs over a three to four year period, the studio and FANTASYWORLDS THEME PARK would also create some 25,000 PERMANENT JOBS and for every job created at the studio and park there would be 4 jobs created in the various support industries within the location state - that is a TOTAL, BOTH DIRECT AND INDIRECT, OF 125,000 NEW JOBS CREATED WITHIN THE STATE. There will also be improvements to the infrastructure with the construction of new roads and highways leading to the facility and connecting directly to major interstate routes.

This would result in still additional thousands of construction jobs over the course of the project.

EDUCATIONAL AND JOB TRAINING OPPORTUNITIES AT THE MOTION PICTURE STUDIOS:

This is a company going back in time to capture and rekindle the "SPIRIT" of the 1930s and 1940s - the GOLDEN ERA OF FILM MAKING. Ours will be a return to the true studio system of that era where the studios developed and nurtured its own stable of stars, trained its own producers, directors, writers, cameramen, sound and lighting technicians, etc., as well as our own animators, story board artists, and so on. All of the various training schools set up on the studio lot will be open for students from across the United States and around the world without regard to race, religion or national origin. Special emphasis will be placed on providing training opportunities to students from poor and third world development countries who dream of working in the motion picture industry, but who would otherwise have little opportunity. Outstanding students will be provided with job opportunities at either our motion picture studios or the FANTASYWORLDS THEME PARK.

EDUCATIONAL AWARENESS PROGRAM - MOTION PICTURE STUDIOS:

Throughout the school year students from various elementary, middle and high schools through the state will be bussed to the studio to learn how live action and animated motion pictures are made and to actually mangle with the professional and creative staff on special "GET AQUATINTED" days. This is a very special and unique program designed to provide students with a wide array of future career choices while also providing educational opportunities.

HUMANITARIAN AND CHARITABLE ELEMENTS FOUND AT THE FANTASYWORLDS THEME PARK:

There are a wide array of both charitable and humanitarian programs to be found in the 450 acre FANTASYWORLDS THEME PARK. These begin with the admission requirements at the park. While admission to FANTASYWORLDS is by the purchase of unlimited Visa tickets, handicapped and terminally ill children will have the right to enter the park for FREE at anytime and will have free access to all of the ride and show attractions. There will also be special events and contacts designed especially for these children where they can not only participate, but actually win prizes and educational benefits designed especially to meet their needs. In addition, there would be very special programs throughout the year which we call CHILDREN HELPING CHILDREN designed to allow children from all over the United States to reach out and provide help to needy children around the world.

GLOBAL VILLAGES INTERACTIVE WORLDS

Once inside the park, visitors may choose to ride one of the authentic old world streetcars or stroll along the Avenue of the World lined with souvenir shops and restaurants from around the world. These shops are actually gateways into our GLOBAL VILLAGES where visitors can mingle with the "citizens" of these villages and learn about their culture and way of life. There are to be 10 key villages each one of which represents 3 to 4 different countries within a specific region on the world. For example, in the European Village visitors will meet "citizens" from Germany, Italy, Poland, etc. In the African Villages they will mingle with citizens from the various nations like the Congo, Zaire, South Africa and so on. In the Middle East Village they will meet "citizens" from Saudi Arabia, Kuwait, the UAE, Morocco and other nationalities of the region. All of the "citizens" of the village will be from the region they represent and will be in real native dress. They will actually live and work in the village in much the same way as they actually would in their own homeland. Throughout each village will be native homes where visitors can see and "get a feel" for how the people of that region live. Their will be stores and shops where they can watch native craftsmen making souvenirs and performing other daily household tasks. Throughout the villages there will also be many children in native dress, attending school or just mingling with the tourist families. Children will be encouraged to mingle with the village children, to "visit" their homes and schools and maybe even attend a class or two with them to see how children in other lands are taught. There will also be special culture events throughout the year designed to BRING PEOPLE TOGETHER TO SHARE DIFFERENT LIFE STYLES AND TO SEE WORLD EVENTS FROM ANOTHER VIEWPOINT. This represent an aspect of SHARED EXPERIENCES which is one of the main themes throughout the FANTASYWORLDS THEME PARK.

Like the motion picture studio (which is to be adjacent to the theme park) and FANTASYWORLDS itself, the GLOBAL VILLAGES will be open to special educational events throughout the school year. Children from elementary, middle and high schools from throughout the state will be bused in during the school year to take part in projects ranging from culture exchanges to learning about various lifestyles and religions and for a select few having the opportunity sponsored by the Taylor Company to actually visit a foreign country and living for two months with a local family (this would also allow students from other countries to live in the United States with an American family as well). Everything would be worked out and coordinated through the Global Villages and the school district to MAXIMIZE the learning experience. These programs are considered to be the HIGHEST PRIORITY since our world is becoming increasingly smaller and smaller due to the rapidly expanding spread of modern technology. This is far more that just a studio or theme park alone, but has been designed to be a living laboratory where people can learn ABOUT EACH OTHER AND THE WORLD AROUND THEM in a natural non judgmental atmosphere that would live up to the parks motto of not only being a place where dreams come true, but an exciting adventure into SHARED EXPERIENCES the whole family can enjoy and remember for a lifetime.

THE UNICEF CHILDREN’S THEATER:

Designed to provide aid and assistance to needy children around the world, the United Nations Children's Theater would be located in the world of FANTASY AND IMAGINATION. While admission to Fantasyworlds would be by purchase of unlimited use Visa tickets, the UNICEF CHILDREN’S THEATER would NOT be covered. Admission charges would be kept very low, however, in order to encourage attendance ($2.50 per adult and only $1.00 for children over the age of 6 years). 100 PERCENT OF THE PROFIT FROM THE UNICEF CHILDREN'S THEATER WOULD BE DONATED DIRECTLY TO UNICEF, THE UNITED NATIONS CHILDREN'S FUND. DONATIONS WOULD BE MADE ON A YEARLY BASIS FOR THE LIFETIME OF THE PARK with a stipulation that EIGHTY-FIVE PERCENT (85%) of this money MUST go directly towards providing food, housing, medical care and education opportunities for needy children and their families. In addition, the Taylor Company would pay the TOTAL COST of all required maintenance and operation of the theater. We estimate that our total donation would be approximately the sum of between TWENTY-FIVE TO 30 MILLION DOLLARS a year.

All the children, as well as the auto-animated animals, will be dressed in native costumes and performing children's songs and dances from their various homelands. Each song in the program will be from a different country and designed to promote PEACE, LOVE, FRIENDSHIP, and UNDERSTANDING. The auto-animated animals will not only be able to sing and dance, but will interact with both the children on stage and those in the theater as well. During the performance, our child performers will mingle freely with the audience and in the grand finale, each one will bring a child from the theater up on the stage to join with them in singing "LET THERE BE PEACE ON EARTH." The 150 children used in the program will come from various countries around the world and be selected by auditions held under the sponsorship of the United Nations. Children selected will all be between the ages of 7 to 12 years of age and will NOT come from well-to-do or famous families, but rather from poor and disadvantaged ones. The children will all stay in foster homes sponsored by employees of Larry Taylor Productions and the Fantasyworlds theme park or with families within the Tampa Bay area (if located in Florida). Both the children and the program performed in the theater will be changed each year with new children brought in from other countries. Those returning to their native lands MUST REMAIN under UNICEF care and sponsorship until they reach the age of 18.

THE FANTASYWORLDS CHILDREN'S CHOIR:

The choir would consist of between 200 to 250 members equally divided between girls and boys from 8 to 16 years of age and would come from all 50 states with openings to be selected each summer from nationwide auditions. Children would continue in the choir until they reach the age of 18 where they would move on to colleges and universities or other performing arts organizations or remain as staff members with the FANTASYWORLDS CHOIR. The level of quality would be equal to or greater than that of the VIENNA BOYS CHOIR and would set the standard for other organizations throughout the United States to emulate. The Choir would consist of the entire 200 to 250 members and would also, depending on each concert or show requirement, be divided into a boys and girls choir for specific works either jointly or separately (such as point and counterpoint which Meredith Wilson used so effectively in "THE MUSIC MAN." The contrast between the range and depth of boys and girls tones would prove impressive when done properly.) The choir would include all types of music from extremely serious efforts such as operas, comic operas and operettas to Broadway musicals, country and western, cowboy to worldwide folk music and patriotic 4th of July spectaculars. The choir, however, will NOT stop with singing, but would also include the dance, again from serious such as ballet to tap and folk, etc. Acting in musical theater such as "ANNIE GET YOUR GUN" and "THE MUSIC MAN" to operettas such as "THE STUDENT PRINCE" and "THE RED MILL" to operas like "CARMEN" and "HANSEL AND GRETEL", etc. The children would also be encouraged to learn a musical instruments to the point of professional symphony orchestra level. In fact, later plans call for the formation of a FANTASYWORLDS CHILDREN'S SYMPHONY & MUSICAL ORCHESTRA.

ARRAY OF CHARITABLE CONTRIBUTIONS:

In addition to the programs outline here, there would also be numerous programs and promotion’s made each year that will benefit a wide range and variety of charitable organizations including the United Way, American Cancer Society, Juvenile Diabetes Association, children’s hospitals and so on. We will work closely with government and community leaders to determine the areas of greatest need each year which will receive special attention. Throughout the year, we will be running numerous "CHALLENGES" to the local and national business community to not only join us in this effort, but to match or SURPASS us! This represents Mr. Taylor’s commitment to the community and his belief that Fantasyworlds must not only be a place of happiness and joy, but a place where DREAMS COME TRUE that can contribute to the lives of individuals less fortunate than we are.
